SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER (FASHION)
We are seeking an exceptionally qualified and highly experienced Senior Production Manager to oversee and manage the entire end-to-end production process for our fashion brand. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and an extensive network of global factories and manufacturers. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of industry knowledge, require no training, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and at the best possible cost.
We're offering a fantastic opportunity to work from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, leading a critical function in a dynamic fashion brand. This role gives you full autonomy and the chance to leverage your expertise in an environment that values efficiency, quality, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Production Management: Oversee the entire production cycle from initial sampling to bulk production and final delivery.
- Critical Path Management: Create, monitor, and manage the critical path to ensure all deadlines are met, coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
- Factory & Supplier Relations: Leverage existing global contacts to source the best manufacturing partners, negotiate costs, and ensure seamless communication.
- Sample Approvals & Quality Control: Measure and assess PP (Pre-Production) samples, SS (Shipment Samples), and bulk production to ensure quality, fit, and compliance with brand standards.
- Freight & Logistics Management: Manage both air and sea freight shipments, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods.
- Costing & Budgeting: Work within budget constraints to secure the best pricing while maintaining quality and production timelines.
- Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve production issues, delays, and quality concerns with a solutions-driven approach.
- Compliance & Ethical Standards: Ensure all production partners meet ethical, legal, and sustainable production standards in line with company policies.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5-7+ years in a senior production management role within the fashion industry.
- Experience in Womenswear Apparel Production: Expertise across various categories, including but not limited to cut & sew, knitwear, denim, and shirting.
- Global Factory & Supplier Network: Established relationships with key manufacturers and production facilities worldwide.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Autonomous Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, take full ownership of production, and drive results without requiring supervision or training.
- Critical Path & Supply Chain Mastery: Deep experience in managing multiple timelines, ensuring all production stages align for on-time delivery.
- Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Experience in resolving production challenges, maintaining quality, and optimizing costs.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Accuracy in tracking production timelines, measurements, and quality control.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive & Solutions-Focused: Ability to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities for process improvement, and drive efficiency. Proven success operating in a lean environment where a ‘hands-on’ approach is critical.
